Spot problems before you pass on files

JetDieline checks construction and print data against fixed rules. Every finding is explained and takes you to the affected spot. That saves queries and correction rounds.

Three levels: geometry, manufacturability, print data

The geometry check finds open contours, overlaps and flaps that do not reach their partner. The manufacturability check assesses gaps, web widths and board thickness against the chosen material profile. The print data check looks at bleed, safety margin, resolution and colour set-up.

Findings you can understand

A finding names the rule, the measured value and the expected value. One click jumps to the spot on the dieline. You can see at once whether to change a dimension, move an object or ask your printer.

Deviate with reasons

Not every finding is an error. If your printer approves a deviation, you can override the finding with a reason. The reason is recorded in the check report, so the decision remains traceable later.

Frequently asked questions

Does a passed check mean print approval?

No. The check supports sign-off but does not replace it. Binding approval comes from your printer, ideally after a built sample.

How does the app know the limits?

The limits come from the chosen material profile, for example for folding carton board or corrugated board. You can adjust them to your printer's specifications.

What you should know

JetDieline supports you with construction, design and checks. It does not replace approval by your printer or a built sample. On-screen and 3D displays are not colour-accurate.
