Tab depth
Depth of the glue flaps from the crease line; no greater than the cylindrical wall height.
Cylinders and bags / JETDIELINE
The lid or base disc has glue flaps around a circular crease line. The starting dimension is the cylindrical wall's inside diameter, together with its height. The parametric dieline shows the disc as an individual component; check a matching wall and assembly separately.

tube.discThe circular crease line matches the cylindrical wall's inside diameter. V-cuts separate the glue flaps around the circumference. Their count follows from the nominal tab width and the arc height limit per crease segment. This produces nearly straight fold lines. The tabs fold through 90° and are glued to the inside of the cylindrical wall.
Pre-break the crease line, fold all tabs inwards, glue their outside and press the disc flush into the cylindrical wall or tube end.

Inside dimension
These dimensions describe the preview, not a fixed packaging size. The app recalculates the dieline for your own dimensions.
Depth of the glue flaps from the crease line; no greater than the cylindrical wall height.
Desired tab width along the circumference; on small discs the tabs become narrower so that each crease line remains nearly straight.
Use the inside diameter of the cylindrical wall into which the disc is glued. A can's outside diameter is a different reference for this individual component. A lift-off lid assembly must also account for material thickness and clearance. The separate tube.lid.disc assembly handles this relationship; the disc alone does not confirm it.
The model combines the desired tab width with an upper limit on the arc height of each crease segment. Small discs may therefore have tabs narrower than the nominal value. The count is recalculated after a dimension change. It is not a freely chosen fixed segment count and should not be changed manually in the exported blank.
Parameter validation limits tab depth to the cylindrical wall height. The material minimum for glue flaps also applies. A very low wall may therefore restrict the usable parameter range even if tab depth is within its general range. Also check glue contact and whether the disc sits flush in the assembled wall.
