Tab depth
Depth of the glue flaps from the crease line; no greater than the tube wall height.
Cylinders and bags / JETDIELINE
The lid or base disc has glue flaps around a circular crease line. The starting dimensions are the inside diameter of the tube wall and its height. The parametric dieline shows the disc as an individual component; check a matching tube wall and assembly separately.

tube.discThe circular crease line matches the inside diameter of the tube wall. V-cuts separate the surrounding glue flaps. Their count follows from the nominal flap width and the arc height limit per crease segment. This produces nearly straight fold lines. The flaps are folded through 90° and glued to the inside of the tube wall.
Pre-break the crease line, fold all flaps inward, apply adhesive to the outside, and press the disc flush into the tube wall or tube end.

Inside dimension
These dimensions describe the preview, not a fixed packaging size. The app recalculates the dieline for your own dimensions.
Depth of the glue flaps from the crease line; no greater than the tube wall height.
Desired width of the tabs along the circumference; on small discs, the tabs become narrower so each crease line remains nearly straight.
Use the inside diameter of the tube wall into which the disc will be glued. The outside diameter of a can is a different reference for this individual component. A telescoping lid assembly also needs to account for material thickness and clearance. The separate tube.lid.disc assembly handles this relationship; the disc alone does not confirm it.
The model combines the desired tab width with an upper limit on the arc height of individual crease segments. Small discs may therefore have narrower tabs than the nominal value. The count is recalculated when dimensions change. It is not a freely chosen fixed segment count and should not be changed manually in the exported blank.
Parameter validation limits tab depth to the tube wall height. The material minimum for glue flaps also applies. A very low tube wall can therefore restrict the usable parameter range, even if the tab depth is within its general range. Also check adhesive contact and disc flushness on the assembled tube wall.
