Technical status of the website

The website serves static HTML, local CSS files, local JavaScript files and its own images. It loads no external font files, scripts or other resources. No cookies, trackers, analytics tools or embedded services are configured.

The only exception to static operation is the contact form; it is described below.

The interactive 3D view of the folding runs entirely in your browser. The library and models required for it are served by the website itself; nothing is transmitted to third parties.

Language selection in the browser

Only the selected language is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key jetdieline-language, and only when you change the language yourself. The value is a language code, for example de-DE. It is a display preference; it is not transmitted to a server.

You can delete the value through your browser's website data. If localStorage is blocked, the website remains usable. No further local storage is configured in the current website code.

Contact form

When you send the contact form, we process your name, email address, selected topic, the page language and the content of your message in order to answer your request.

The website does not store the message permanently. The server sends it as an email to info@jetdieline.com.

To protect against misuse, no more than five messages per hour can be sent from the same IP address. For this, the server creates a temporary file for the current hour whose name is formed from a hash of the IP address; it contains only a counter. The IP address itself is not stored.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), insofar as the request concerns the purchase or use of the app; otherwise GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in answering your request). For limiting messages per hour, the legal basis is GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in protection against misuse).

Retention period: we delete the message no later than twelve months after the request has been fully handled. If a message is subject to statutory retention obligations (in particular under § 147 of the German Fiscal Code, Abgabenordnung), we keep it for the statutory period.

Recipients: emails are received and stored through an email service provider that processes the data on our behalf (processor under GDPR Art. 28). A transfer to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area takes place only if the requirements of GDPR Art. 44 et seq. are met.

Providing your data is voluntary; however, without an email address we cannot reply to you. Please do not send us confidential project data unless it is necessary for your request.

Hosting and access data

The website code to be delivered contains no server logging of its own. When you access a website, your IP address is technically transmitted to the server delivering it. Whether and how a future hosting provider logs access data is still open.

The JetDieline app

This policy concerns the website. The JetDieline app works entirely locally on your Mac. There is no user account, no registration, no analytics or advertising services, and no transmission of your projects to us.

No sharing, no tracking, no advertising

We do not sell data, do not use tracking, and do not show advertising. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

Enquiries about your data

You can contact the controller with questions about the processing of your enquiry.

Insofar as we process personal data about you, you have the right of access (GDPR Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, a message to info@jetdieline.com is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your place of residence. The authority responsible for us is:
