Terms of use and notice on print data
What JetDieline outputs are templates. Before production, you check them together with your printer.
In brief
Checking required: the data generated with JetDieline must be checked by you and your printer before production (dimensions, material, die-cut contour, colours). Colours are not colour-accurate. The approval documents the check; it does not replace it.
Material profiles are starting values. Physical dimension checks and print approval are your responsibility and your printer's.
Template, not manufacturing approval
The dieline, design PDF, images and report are generated by JetDieline from your inputs and from starting values. They are templates for further processing, not checked manufacturing documents.
Check assembly, findings and files with your printer. A mathematically valid contour is not product approval. Physical prototypes remain necessary.
Checking remains necessary
Before every production run, you and your printer must check the data, in particular inside and outside dimensions, material thickness and creases, die-cut contour and glue flaps, bleed and safety margins, colour separations and overprinting, barcodes (legibility, number) and all text. A physical prototype is recommended.
Agree dimensions
Starting values, material and machine profiles are based on assumptions. The digital geometry is reproducible to 1 µm; the manufacturing tolerance depends on material, machine and printer and must be agreed with the printer.
Not colour-accurate
Colours on screen, in previews, 3D views, mock-ups, images, videos and in the report are not colour-accurate. Only a proof agreed with the printer is binding.
Approval documented, does not replace checking
The approval status and the approval page record your decision and that of your partners. They are not a check by the provider and not a guarantee of manufacturability.
Your content and third-party rights
You are responsible for logos, images, text, fonts, reference dielines, GTIN and barcode numbers and mandatory information on the packaging.
In exports, fonts are converted to outlines, partly embedded in reports, or passed on as a file in project and brand packages. Check whether your font licence permits this. The display of embedding rights in the app is merely a technical notice.
Designations according to the FEFCO or ECMA catalogs are for reference only; the app contains no standard texts or drawings and is neither reviewed nor endorsed by these associations.
Content of this website
Illustrations, previews and the interactive 3D view on this website show examples. They are not production files and are not colour-accurate.
The 3D view shows a simplified display model without millimetre dimensions.

Defects and liability
For defects in the app, the statutory provisions apply. Please report errors to info@jetdieline.com.
We are liable without limitation for intentional misconduct and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz), and to the extent we have given a guarantee.
In the case of slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance you may regularly rely), our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
If the data check described above is not carried out before production, this may reduce or exclude your claim as contributory negligence (§ 254 of the German Civil Code, BGB).
Mandatory statutory rights, in particular consumer rights, remain unaffected.
Governing law and language versions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer with habitual residence in another state, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that state remain unaffected.
In case of discrepancies between the language versions, the German version prevails, unless the mandatory law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
