Crease-to-crease dimension

The crease-to-crease dimension is the distance between a panel's crease lines in the flat construction.

It therefore describes a different quantity from the usable interior or the outside size of the assembled box. Conversion depends on material, creasing and construction. If a printer gives you dimensions from their drawing, ask about this reference. Only a clear dimension reference lets you compare contours meaningfully and prevents identical numbers from referring to different packaging sizes.
