Material profile
A material profile collects a material's properties and construction values.

These include thickness, grain direction, minimum values and crease allowance. A name or grammage alone does not adequately describe these properties. The profile has a version and a trust level so that its provenance remains visible. Supplied values begin as starting values and must be checked on the real material. If you use another material, check the profile again rather than transferring the previous allowances to the new packaging unchecked.
