A dieline describes the flat construction of packaging.

It distinguishes cut lines, creases and other processing lines. It forms the basis for a cutting die or cutting table, but is not print artwork. Artwork and construction are output separately. Both can be combined in a preview for coordination. Before production, check dimension reference, material profile and your printer's requirements. A visible contour alone confirms neither fit nor manufacturability.
