Crease allowance
Crease allowance accounts for the space material takes up when folded.

Inside dimension, outside dimension and distance between crease lines are therefore not automatically equal. The material profile contains suitable additions and deductions, also depending on grain or flute direction. A supplied starting value is not yet a measurement of your board. Build a test piece with the intended material and tool and measure the defined points. Only then can the allowance be calibrated traceably for your workflow.
