Dust flap
Dust flaps sit at the sides of a folding carton's closure and fold inward before the main flap.

They cover open areas and support closure. They are neither glue flaps nor the actual tuck closure. Length and angle must suit adjacent panels so flaps do not obstruct each other during closing. Geometric validation can indicate collisions. Only an assembled prototype with the intended material confirms whether the closure works with your board in practice.
