Reference dieline
A reference dieline is an imported construction, for example from your printer's file.

It differs from a parametrically generated template: changing dimensions does not automatically reconstruct an import. The reference helps placement and comparison while preserving the original. Clarify units, dimension reference and line types before use. Detected deviations need a technical decision. A reference layer in the project replaces neither agreement with its creator nor proof of a suitable production file.
