See how many blanks fit on one sheet

The layout on the printing sheet determines material consumption and price. JetDieline shows the sheet layout and estimates costs before you request a quote.

Calculate the sheet layout

You choose a sheet format, and the app arranges the blanks. It considers spacing, gripper margin, and the grain direction of the material. The result shows how many ups fit on one sheet and how much area remains unused.

Nesting saves material

Blanks can be rotated and offset into each other. With many shapes, more ups fit on the same sheet. The app shows both layouts side by side for comparison.

Estimate costs early

A cost estimate results from the sheet count, the material price, and the print run. It helps you compare sizes and runs. A binding quote comes from your printer.

Frequently asked questions

What does “up” mean?

An up is a single blank on the printing sheet. The more ups fit on one sheet, the less material you need per package.

Can I pass the sheet layout to the printer?

Yes, as a proposal. The printer sets the final layout, because it knows the machine, the tooling, and the material format.

What you should know

JetDieline supports you with construction, design, and checking. It does not replace approval by your printer or a built sample. Screen and 3D displays are not color-accurate.
