Pads, dividers, wraps and lids complete a shipping box. Check inside dimensions, material thickness and clearance together. A divider must fit both the outer packaging and the individual products.
9Constructions, components and assemblies
Individual components are shown separately. Different sizes and stored template versions are not additional packaging shapes.
Four walls with a glue flap and bottom flaps, open at the top: the half slotted container can serve as a shelf box or base. The own parametric construction calculates only this open box body.
The outer flaps each cover the entire opening at the top and bottom and overlap. Our corrugated construction calculates full coverage rather than just a narrow overlap strip.
An adjustable strip connects the outer flaps at the top and bottom. The template calculates flap lengths, material layers, and blank from box dimensions and the desired overlap.
The inner flaps meet in the center and close the opening. Outer flaps with an adjustable gap sit above them; our construction calculates both flap layers together.
A snap-lock bottom closes this corrugated box without tape at the bottom. The top is selected separately: meeting flaps, fully overlapping flaps, or open.
The corrugated box is preglued at the factory and supplied flat. The crash-lock bottom closes during erection; the top can have meeting flaps, fully overlapping flaps, or an open edge.
Base of the archive box: corrugated half slotted container, open at the top, four bottom flaps like the slotted box, a handle hole (slot) in both end walls.
Telescope lid of the archive box: shallow tray of bottom and four walls with glued corner flaps; in the assembly sized from the outside dimensions of the base plus clearance per side.
Archive and storage box in corrugated board with matching base and telescope lid. The base is open at the top and has hand holes in both end walls. Clearance per side and lid height determine the fit; the starting dimensions suit A4 documents.
