Features / JETDIELINE

Use your printer's dieline as the basis

Often the printer supplies its own dieline. JetDieline imports this reference, recognizes the line types, and places your artwork precisely on it.

Import existing dielines

You import the reference dieline as PDF, SVG, or DXF. The app imports the geometry at its original size. Dimensions and position are preserved.

Automatically recognize line types

The app recognizes cut, crease, and perforation lines by color, line style, and layer names. You check the assignment and correct it by hand if needed.

Design and check like a template

After the import, you work with the reference like a template from the catalog. Designer, check, 3D view, and export are available, as far as the imported geometry allows.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the dimensions of the imported dieline?

An imported reference is fixed geometry and not parametric. For other dimensions, ask your printer for a new dieline or use a template from the catalog.

What happens if the line types are not recognized?

Then you assign the lines yourself. The app shows all unassigned lines so nothing is overlooked.

What you should know

JetDieline supports you with construction, design, and checking. It does not replace approval by your printer or a built sample. Screen and 3D displays are not color-accurate.
