Glue flap
Width of the glue flap used to glue the blank into a tube. The material requires a minimum width.
Corrugated components and inserts / JETDIELINE
The outer flaps each cover the entire opening at the top and bottom and overlap. Our corrugated construction calculates full coverage rather than just a narrow overlap strip.

03 / BOX
Simplified display model without material thickness, not to scale.
The 3D view is not available in this browser. The image shows the folded shape.
corrugated.rsc.fulloverlapFour wall panels and a glue flap form the box body. The inner flaps fold in first; the back outer flap then lies under the front outer flap. This structure repeats at the top and bottom. Double coverage is part of the dimension model, not an additional size variant.
Glue or stitch the glue flap to the opposite wall. Erect for filling, fold in the inner bottom flaps, place the back outer flap over them first and then the front flap, and glue across the surface, staple, or tape; do the same at the top.

Inside dimension
These dimensions describe the preview, not a fixed packaging size. The app recalculates the dieline for your own dimensions.
Width of the glue flap used to glue the blank into a tube. The material requires a minimum width.
Bevel at the ends of the glue flap; facilitates folding and erection.
Gap between neighboring flaps or walls; at least approximately the material thickness.
The front and back outer flaps each cover the entire opening. They overlap above the previously folded inner flaps. This applies at the top and bottom. A narrow overlap strip is a different construction with its own parameter; this template shows full coverage.
For this ID, full coverage is built into the construction model. It has no parameter for a narrower strip. Use the slotted container with overlapping outer flaps for adjustable overlap. Do not alter the contour simply by scaling or trimming it; this would lose the documented construction status.
The assembly description places the back outer flap over the bottom or lid first, then the front flap. The front flap is therefore the last layer closed. Check reading direction and hidden artwork areas on a marked sample, especially when both flaps are printed.
