Spout pouch
The spout pouch print mask adds a sealed-in spout to the stand-up pouch. Choose the top right corner or the center of the top edge and enter the inside diameter. The spout's boat-shaped flange is part of the seal zones; the drawing documents its position, not confirmed component fit.

How the shape is constructed
Front, W-shaped bottom gusset, and back share one print sheet. In the corner position, the top right corner is beveled; in the centered position, the top outline stays straight. The spout's boat-shaped flange includes the spout and its seal margin. Unlike the zipper template, this parameter set contains no press-to-close zipper or tear notch.
How it is assembled
Print the film, insert and seal the bottom gusset, seal the side seams and top seam, and seal in the spout's boat-shaped flange at the marked position. Fill through the spout.
Material and grain direction
Test fit, folding and closure on a sample made from the intended material. Confirm material thickness, grain direction and production steps with your printer.
Compare labels, cup carriers and bottle packaging. Circumference and openings must fit the container. Print mockups of beverage cartons do not demonstrate liquid-tightness.

What to consider for this construction
Top seal
Height of the top seal, sealed after filling; with a hanging hole, at least the hole height plus twice 3 mm.
Bottom gusset
Depth of the inserted bottom gusset (half the standing area); at most one-third of the height and half the width.
Spout position
Spout positioned diagonally in the top right corner or at the top center.
Spout diameter
Spout inside diameter; the boat-shaped flange is 6 mm wider all around.
Frequently asked questions
Which spout positions does the template support?
The top right corner and the center of the top edge are provided. The corner position creates a diagonal outline; the centered position uses a different fit check for the boat-shaped flange. The starting value is top right corner. A freely movable position is not provided in this parameter set. Check the selected component with the converter.
Is the diameter the outside dimension of the boat-shaped flange?
No. pouchSpoutDiameter describes the spout's inside diameter. The model adds a 6 mm seal margin on each side and further geometry for the corner position. The actual boat-shaped flange may vary by manufacturer. Use the calculated mask as a basis for coordination and confirm component, tooling, and seal margin before approval.
Why might a spout not fit despite an allowed parameter range?
The general range permits diameters from 8 to 33 mm. Available pouch width, and also side seam and height for a corner position, can further restrict the permitted value. The rule pouchSpoutDiameter.fitsPouch checks this relationship. For narrower pouches, consider position, diameter, and pouch dimensions together and recalculate.

This template calculates the print mask for a flat pouch with a three-side seal. Front and back share one print sheet with a bottom fold. Side and top seams are seal zones; optional additions include a zipper, tear notch, and hanging hole. The drawing is not an approved die-cutting contour for film.

Stand-up pouch (Doypack)
The stand-up pouch receives a print mask comprising the front, inserted W-shaped bottom gusset, and back. Side seam, top seam, Doyen corners, and zipper band remain documented as seal zones. Pouch width and height are outside dimensions; the bottom gusset is a separate parameter. The calculated print sheet does not yet confirm standing stability.

Drink pouch
The drink pouch template shows a stand-up bottom print mask with a marked straw puncture point on the front. The starting profile has a wider top seal than the simple stand-up variant. Width, height, bottom gusset, and puncture point are set separately; calculated fill volume is not part of the model.
