Side seal
Width of the seal on the left and right; it runs through all layers and remains free of important print content.
Pouches and print layouts / JETDIELINE
The stand-up pouch receives a print mask comprising the front, inserted W-shaped bottom gusset, and back. Side seam, top seam, Doyen corners, and zipper band remain documented as seal zones. Pouch width and height are outside dimensions; the bottom gusset is a separate parameter. The calculated print sheet does not yet confirm standing stability.

pouch.standupTwice the bottom gusset depth lies between the front and back. The print sheet therefore follows 2 × height + 2 × bottom gusset. The center fold edge turns the W-gusset inward. Doyen corners mark the bottom seal areas. Zipper and tear notch are enabled in the starting state; a hanging hole is optional.
Print the film, insert the bottom gusset inward and seal it with the Doyen corners, seal in the zipper, and close the side seams. Seal the top seam after filling.
Test fit, folding and closure on a sample made from the intended material. Confirm material thickness, grain direction and production steps with your printer.
Compare labels, cup carriers and bottle packaging. Circumference and openings must fit the container. Print mockups of beverage cartons do not demonstrate liquid-tightness.
Outside dimension
These dimensions describe the preview, not a fixed packaging size. The app recalculates the dieline for your own dimensions.
Width of the seal on the left and right; it runs through all layers and remains free of important print content.
Height of the top seal, sealed after filling; with a hanging hole, at least the hole height plus twice 3 mm.
Depth of the inserted bottom gusset (half the standing area); at most one-third of the height and half the width.
Resealable press-to-close zipper; the zipper band is a seal zone.
Distance from the zipper center to the top edge; the zipper sits below the top seal and above the bottom fold. Active when the zipper is enabled.
The inserted W-shaped bottom gusset is added to the front and back. The model uses twice the bottom gusset depth for this. In the starting example, 230 mm height and a 40 mm bottom gusset produce a total print sheet height of 540 mm. The extra 80 mm are not a top seam allowance. Record pouch dimensions, bottom parameters, and sheet dimensions separately during handoff.
No. The rules limit it to 33 % of pouch height and half the pouch width. A deeper bottom gusset also reduces the space below the zipper. Check bottom and closure parameters together. Valid geometry does not confirm standing stability; the filled sample must be tested with the intended film and target contents.
The zipper is enabled in the starting state but can be disabled. Its distance setting depends on this switch. The top seam remains the sealed seam after filling; the zipper is an additional press-to-close closure. Adapt artwork and tear notch to the chosen structure and coordinate the closure design with the converter.
