Legs
Folded legs at the front and back edges or at all four edges; the side legs are shorter to fit between the front and back legs.
Folding cartons and inserts / JETDIELINE
Paperboard insert for a box: a platform with a product cut-out (rectangle, circle, or oval, freely positioned) on folded legs at two or four edges, optionally with inward-folded leg flaps. Dimensions: outside dimensions of the insert (inside dimensions of the box) × platform height.

Simplified display model without material thickness, not to scale.
The 3D view is not available in this browser. The image shows the folded shape.
carton.insert.cutoutA platform with a freely positioned product cut-out stands on two or four folded legs. The optional leg flaps have ends trimmed at 45°. The insert is placed in the box without gluing.
Fold the legs downward at the creases and fold the leg flaps inward; place the insert in the box and the product in the cut-out. No gluing.
Test fit, folding and closure on a sample made from the intended material. Confirm material thickness, grain direction and production steps with your printer.
Outside dimension
These dimensions describe the preview, not a fixed packaging size. The app recalculates the dieline for your own dimensions.
Folded legs at the front and back edges or at all four edges; the side legs are shorter to fit between the front and back legs.
Width of the inward-folded flap at the bottom of each leg (0 = none); the ends are trimmed at 45°.
Rectangle with corner radius, circle (diameter = cut-out width), or oval.
Width of the individual product cut-out; also the diameter for a circle. At the selected position, at least 5 mm of web remains to the platform edge.
Height of the individual product cut-out; for a circle, it follows the cut-out width. At the selected position, at least 5 mm of web remains to the platform edge.
The insert must fit into an existing box. Its outside dimensions describe the space it requires; the height describes the platform height. This template does not support inside or crease-to-crease dimensions. Derive the inputs from the usable inside space of the box and check clearance and insertion on the sample, rather than assuming both dimension sets are identical without checking.
Two legs stand at the front and back edges. Four legs add side supports; these are shortened to fit between the other legs. Leg flaps fold inward and need no gluing. The geometry checks their space requirements. This does not promise a product load capacity; test it with the intended material.
Choose the circle shape and enter the diameter as the cut-out width. In this mode, cut-out height follows width. For an oval, width and height remain separate. For a rectangle, corner radius is added. Choose the shape according to the product's contact area; a geometrically fitting cut-out does not yet confirm secure retention.
