An approval snapshot records a particular project state.

Associated files and checksums identify the output to which the approval applies. Later changes belong to a new revision while the earlier state remains traceable. A checksum confirms a file's identity, not the technical correctness of its contents. Before recording the state, check the preview, production sheet, and open findings. Agree with your print shop who approves production and what the approval covers.
